We would like to set up links to various interest pages. Pages will be devoted to , interior designers, decorative painters, woodturners and help for those who want an old lighting repaired or made safe. Other links will take you to other sites of interest, lampshade  makers, woodturning groups, interior designers etc. 

Dangerous Lamps

If you have a lamp that has a brass fitting which turns when you put in a bulb you are putting your life at risk every time you switch it on. At any time leads can be twisted free inside, if the wrong ones come loose and touch the brass, someone is at risk of electrocution. It happen to many people each year, they get a tingle  if they are lucky and put the lamp out of harms way. If their hand had been wet or they had heart trouble or if they were a child things could have been very different. DO NOT TAKE ANY RISKS. Get it checked .
